When you have a favorite activity, it's hard to want to do anything else. But sometimes when we want to get better at an activity we need to strengthen our bodies apart from the activity. This can be accomplished with cross-training, and it's not a bad idea even in the middle of the season, to do at least a little bit of it. Here's three movements that can be done for a very simply bike cross-training workout. A few sets of 8-12 reps should be good enough, but be sure to mix it up every month or so.
